2014 Senior Spokes Model Program

Thurman Jones Photography (TJP) is looking for juniors (graduating in 2014) that are interested in working as a model for our studio.  I am looking for students that are interested in having their portraits taken before the end of their junior year in exchange for print credits. TJP is based in Charlestown, IN and we are looking for juniors from Charlestown, Silver Creek, New Washington, Henryville, Jeff, New Albany, Floyd Central, Eastern, Salem and West Washington to name a few.

Thurman Jones Photography will select at least two students from each school to participate in the program.  Parental consent is required to participate and an application must be filled out prior to acceptance.  If you are chosen as a model, you will be photographed in early spring.  The session will include the services of a hair and makeup professional.  Approximately two weeks later, you will be able to preview your images and receive your spokes model cards.

Models will receive business-type cards with their images and the studio’s information; the images will be selected by TJP.  The cards will also offer a special discount when presented to Thurman Jones Photography.  Models will receive credit for each student that books/completes a session.  Students booking a session MUST present your card at the time of booking to receive their special discount and to count toward your tally.

Many students have their senior pictures taken over the summer, so it is very important that you show your portraits to as many people as possible before school lets out.  The more you show your portraits and promote Thurman Jones Photography, the more additional products you can earn.

Applications will be accepted until midnight March 6^th, 2013.  All applicants will be informed on or before March 10^th, 2013, as to the status of their acceptance into the spokes model program.

Models receive:

• $50 credit per referral that can be used for any TJP products OR choose additional sessions
• After 3 referrals “Trash The Dress” session
• After 5 referrals “My Mom Is A Model” session
• After 10 referrals “Pictures with Friends” session for up to four of your friends

Models also receive:

• Additional two hour photo session a $200 value is included at no charge for models
• Minimum of four web sized & watermarked images from each of your sessions to use on the web and Facebook a $80 value.
• One custom Facebook banner a $70 value.
• Your pictures on advertising materials, our website and Facebook
• Two custom folding accordion books a $140 value.

Contract Terms:

• I agree to pay a $100 one-time enrollment fee to help offset the costs of the products and sessions I will receive (valued at over $490) in the event that I am unable to bring in at least two referrals during my contract.
• I understand that this is a job and I will have to work to earn print credits by passing out my Spokes Model cards, showing my folding accordion book and encouraging my friends to book their sessions with Thurman Jones Photography.
• I agree to use one of my web-sized images as my avatar for Facebook and/or Twitter/Google+ from the time of my first session until December of my senior year.
• I agree to like the Thurman Jones Photography page on Facebook.
• I agree to not scan, print, modify or reproduce images taken by Thurman Jones Photography
• I agree to always represent Thurman Jones Photography in a positive manner.
• I agree to share posts from Thurman Jones Photography.
• I agree to friend other Senior Spokes Model representatives.
• I agree to not promote or utilize other studios for senior images while I am a participant of Thurman Jones Photography’s program.
• I understand that my free sessions cannot be cancelled or rescheduled.
• I understand that credits must be used or claimed before May 1, 2014 or they will be forfeited.
• Violation of the contract will result additional charges for waived session fees and products.
